A forward-thinking Web3 company focused on redefining cloud infrastructure through decentralised technology. The company’s vision is to enable individuals and organisations to monetise their unused digital resources—such as storage and server capacity—by transforming them into decentralised services accessible across the globe.
The client recognised a growing demand for decentralised alternatives to traditional cloud services, alongside a vast supply of underutilised devices with idle computing power. They aimed to create a platform that would allow users to register unused storage or servers and make them available for others to rent, while earning tokens as incentives. Key challenges included building a scalable system that could connect devices globally with low latency, ensuring data integrity and service reliability, and maintaining a secure, transparent transaction system through blockchain technology.
Ekotek collaborated with the client to design and implement a full-featured platform that connects individual infrastructure providers to users in need of digital resources. Using virtualisation technology, the platform turns distributed devices into bare metal servers available on demand. This was supported by a robust backend, user-friendly frontend, and blockchain-enabled payment and tracking systems.
The agile development cycle lasted six months and involved a dedicated team consisting of project management, blockchain development, frontend and backend engineers, QA, and infrastructure specialists. The outcome was a decentralised infrastructure ecosystem that aligns with Web3 principles—community-driven, token-incentivised, and trustless by design.
